Why is trust such an important component of a teacher-student relationship?

It's more like being able to believe in a teacher that they can "make a change." Being afraid of your teacher isn't going to help much either...

It's important because without trust how are people going to believe you. Everyone wants to know that they can trust you so people shouldn't mess up that single chance because they might not give you a second chance.

Students and teachers need to work together in order for students to succeed in learning. In order for students and teachers to work cooperatively, trust is needed to make a great team.

Trust is important between a teacher and a student because if they do the students can talk to their teacher like a friend and tell them how the feel and the teacher ca help the student if he has any problem.

i think that trust is important, because if you cant trust a teacher, you wont be able to go to them for help/questions. If you can trust a teacher, you will be more willing to go to them with your questions and concerns.

it matters because we are going to grow together in a classroom and our relationship between a teacher and a student will get stronger.

plus if we wanted to, we could talk to our teacher like a counselor if you wanted to (:

trust is such an important component of a teacher-student relationship becuase both the teacher and student should be able to meet eye to eye when it comes to academics and class.

Trust is an important component in a student - teacher relationship because if you don't trust your teacher, then your teacher won't trust you with things that can be trusted with anyone else.

Trust for a student teacher relationship is trusting that the student will pay attention and learning things. There are two sides to this story. Meaning that the teacher has to respect what the student has to say. Also teach the student to learn new thing's. Most of all get that student to pass and go to the next grade. For this situation there is a type of trust. One trust is that you must let the student do what he needs to do to get good grades and learn new things. The teacher needs to let the student understand how to do those new things and make the student do it to the best of his ability.

trust is such an important thing in a teacher-student relationship because both parties need to be able confide in each other. They need to be able to trust that the other person can be responsible about any conversation that is had between a student and teacher and vice-versa.

Trust is a vital component to a student teacher relationship, because without trust it would be a very bumpy road to the end of the school year. Trust is a two way street, the teacher needs to trust in the student, knowing that he/she will complete their homework to the best of their ability, and the student needs to trust the teacher, that he/she will be patient and teach as best as they know how. Most importantly is respect, you may not have to like the teacher, but you will have respect their authority. It doesn't matter if the teacher is mean or not, but respect means to treat them the way that you want to be treated (sounds lame, I know). The only way to get along, or at least tolerate each other, is to trust and respect each other.

its important because the student can ask help from the teacher, and if the teachers an a**h**e the student dosent want to ask the teacher for help and dosent trust him/her

If a teacher trust you it means he or she beliefs in you, and that way you will feel better because you know someone cares about you. If you trust your teacher it would help you a lot because you spend most of the day at school, and if you trust that person you will feel comfortable in the class and that way you enjoy being at school.

I think trust is important because with trust the student knows that his/her teacher will help them when struggling or the teacher will know that his/her student is asking when they dont know something and not keeping quite about it.

if a teacher trust you then that means, shell be able to understand you more...and if a teacher understands you more then most likley shell be able to teach the student the way she or he needs to be taught. if a student trusts a teacher then they will have a strong bond. some students dont like to to do what a teacher says if he or she doesnt trust them. so if he or she trusts the teacher then maybe they'll listen in class, and actaully believe wat the the teacher is saying to them. it also means that even as a teacher and a student you trust each other to make the right desicsions in class...and you trust them to tell you the truth of the history and anything they are teaching about...

trust is important in a student teacher relationship because if the students is going into a hard time then he can trust the teacher to help him get trough that. Unlike if there is no trust then the kid would probably had to ask for help to someone that cant really help him

well it sometimes it's not that important. But i agree that it is an nice thing to have so that you have someone to turn to other than your parents and friends like if its a question that you can't have them answer. Also the teachers would like to trust you so that they could ask you a question about the class or something like that. Yeah you get labeled by your peers/classmates sometimes like teachers pet, brown noser, kiss ass. Yep ........ that's the way i feel about it

I think that trust is important because if u don't have it, how will people believe you. If we don't trust u how are we going to believe that you can help us learn. As we grow as a class the better.

i think that trust is important because without it how can you get along. You might get paranoid around the teacher, or be too scared to ask for anything. without trust there can be no teacher-student relationship.

you also need trust to grow in knowledge, cause you cant learn anything from someone if you cant trust the person...

Trust is important to have in a student teacher relationship because it allows students to ask questions and receive help. The students can be trusted to pay attention in class and turn in assignments. The teachers can be trusted to help the student and make a difference in their education.

Trust between a teacher and a student is the best thing that can happen to you in school. If you gain trust from the teacher, the teacher would be like another friend to you. The teacher would be like your good friend that you could come and talk to about school. Gaining a teachers trust is a great thing.

Trust is very important in any relationship including a teacher-student relationship. If you don't trust each other, what do you have?
The student should trust the teacher enough to where they feel comfortable talking to the teacher. The teacher should trust the student to where they believe the student and believe in the student. Trust should be mutual and honest in any and every relationship.

I think that you should be able to trust your teacher because she will believe in you. It is also important to trust each other.

Because with trust the student can achieve more because the teacher believes in them. If there was no trust the student would not do well because they won't have anyone to push them to do well.

Well i personally believe it is vital to have a relationship with your teacher because they will know and will trust you to handle an assignment and finish it before their deadline. It is also important because if you hate your teacher, you are never going to learn in the class that they teach.

if theres no trust theres no relationship

i think it is important to have a good relationship with your teacher because it would be eaiser to work with them. Like, if you didnt have a good relationship you wouldnt be as willing to work with them on important school things.

I believe trust is important because teachers will have faith in students. Instead of just being an regular teacher just doing her/his job, you can get to know each other personally and it makes it easier to learn because you can ask the teacher any questions you have. Also the teacher will always encourage you with anything and I think that's really how it should be.

i think you should trust your teacher because if you don't you wont be able to learn as well as you can. Also teacher should trust there student too

It is verey important to have trust with your teacher. Teachers are suppose to help you and believe in you. If you don't have trust you won't want to talk to them or do what they asign you to do. It would all be a big mess.

Trust is really important because that is what makes a student and a teacher comfortable with each other and in what they are doing. It also makes them comfortable to know that the other person trusts them and believes that they are doing hte right thing.

i think that a student needs to have alot of trust in their theacher because then a student can talk to their teacher if they are having any kind of problems or with their home work.

Being able to trust in a teacher and a student is being able to believe that they can "be something" for you or for the world. It is also to have confidence that you aren't just wasting your time with the other person, but that they are really looking forward to make a change in you and in the world.

Trust in a student-teacher relationship is essential because it proves that the teacher can trust the student to listen and understand what the teacher is saying and turn in assignments on time and so the student can trust that the teacher can grade reports fairly and be told on upcoming projects.

i think that without trust the student will not be able to trust the teacher, that the teacher is teaching the truth. and the teacher will not be able to trust that the student is learning anything
