- My name is Myeshia Whigham and I teach 9th grade Humanities at High Tech High School in Chula Vista California. I love spending time with my family and on the weekends I like watching sports. I also love to travel, I am amazed by the way people in different communities live life. My dream is to walk a day in their footsteps and for them to walk a day in mine.

I am thankful that I was able to see most of my family on Thanksgiving. They helped me realize how fortunate I am to have a family that I can call my own.
One thing I'm thankful for is about having a big supportive and fun family because whenever I need them or they need us were always there for each other and I love having fun with them and laugh with them.
I am thankful for my house, because it has all my stuff, and because alot of people are losing their house. It shows that at thanksgiving you should nicer to people who are less fortunate than you.
Well I'm thankful for all of the family and friends that I have and are there for me. I got to see most of them this week
one thing i am thankful for is the fact that my parents can afford a house for me to live in, a bed for me to sleep in, and a TV, and computer to keep me entertained and food to keep me full.
that helped me understand the true meaning of thanksgiving break because it helped me realise that i am lucky to have these things and to be able to live in america while some kids in other parts of the world live in poverty.
It was really nice that I got to spend Thanksgiving with my family and my cousins. I was really glad that I got to spend it with Pia, my cousin from the Philippines who I didn't get to see for almost 5 years, so I am thankful for that as well.
I'm thankful because I was able to be with all of my family, and we were all together having a good time and having fun.It made me think of how lucky I am for being able to do that because not everybody has the opportunity to be with their family all together.
One thing I am thankful for, is having my family. Because without them it would be really hard b/c's i wouldn't have their support or love :D

I'm thankful for my family becuase they helped me understand the true meaning of thanksgiving break because its when your supposed to be thankful to have them in your life and to spend time with them.
I am thankful for my family because they can afford to keep me in their house and also all the things they buy for me and for the whole family to help keep everyone in touch and happy. Thy helped me understand the true meaning of Thanksgiving because they showed how much they cared for everyone.
I'm thankful for my family and friends. They help me understand the true meaning of thanksgiving. Because with out your family that provides for you and teaches you from right and wrong how are you going to learn that yourself with out them, but never forget your friends because though you might fight once in a while but there always there to make you laugh and help you with problems that you can't talk to your parents about.
Well i did not do much for Thanksgiving. My family and i went to Las Vegas for the weekend thats all. We just walked around and watched one show, but im thankful for a family because if i didnt i wouldnt even be here where i am right now.
I am thankful that i get to see my family on Thanksgiving. All year long the whole family is busy either working or traveling somewhere, we really dont see each other as often. It is nice because its the one day we slow down and come together under a single roof.

Thanksgiving is celebrating everything in our lives that we appreciate and are thankful for. I think Thanksgiving is mainly about family because it is a chance for everyone to get together. I am thankful for a lot of things, but I am mainly thankful for my friends and my family.
I am most thankful for my many friends that I was able to make in my short time here at High Tech High because it has not always been easy for me to do that.
I am thankful for having great students and lucky to be their teacher. Over my break, I reminisced about all of the things we have done so far and all of the hard work that they have completed. I love each and everyone of their personalities, and how they make me feel at the end of a long week. I can't wait until we move to our new campus and I am excited about the rest of the year!
I'll say that I'm thankful for whatever gives me my random inspiration for writing. I've had writer's block since May.
i am thankful that i got to see my newborn niece and my sister and other nieces which i hadn't seen for 5 years, and that i got to see my moms parents who also i hadn't seen for a very long time.
before thanksgiving day i was just waiting for the food, helping my mom and my step dad cook, and tasting the food was like sneaking to look at my presents before christmas day. nevertheless i loved it. on thanksgiving, i still couldnt say i was thankful for anything, cause i was in a real bad mood, i hadnt talked to any of my sisters for over a month and i didnt know how they were doing. only did i realize what i was trully thankful for the day afterwards. i was cleaning my room thinking of a present to make for my sister for christmas when i realized. she had called me that morning...i had talked to my sister and i missed her so much. while cleaning my room i remembered all the time i had shared with my best friend and my sister. i realized i had something to be thankful for, mys sisters were safe, and they were happy. my best friend was doing well in school and i was breaking down because i was alone. realizing how fortunate my family and friends were and how happy they were made me realize. i was thankful to hear my sisters voice, i was thankful to know my family was ok, i was thankful to be alive and that they were alive. it helped me open my eyes and smell the roses, life's to short to think of myself so many times...i should only think of how happy my family and friends were around me...and that is all i veer trully wanted and what i can trully be thankful for.
I guess one of the things that I am most thankful for is my family. It might sound cliche, but I like being with my family, spending time with them, and talking to them. Of course, I might not always like them (sometimes borderline hate), but they will always be my family. It helped me to understand the true meaning of Thanksgiving break because it is the purpose of the break. You are supposed to spend time with the people you love, and learn to apreciate and be THANKFUL for them.
I am thankful that I got to see my family during thanksgiving and that also we all got together and that also they are always there for me and they always support me.
hhhhmmmm thankful for............ i guess there are a lot of things i'm thankful for. But i was thankful for the week off and since my family didn't do thanksgiving this year, the week off was the highlight. Also i liked the weather we had.

I am super thankful for my family, because they have always been there to support me in everything that I do. Over the Thanksgiving Break I realized this because when I was with my family, everyone was asking how the new school was (HTHCV)and they told me to keep working hard.
This is what I am truly thankful for.
I am very thankful about my family and my friends. I am glad that they are always there for me when i need help they are always right there to help me. and i am very thankful that i have a chance to come to HTH because thats were i met really good friends that i am very thankful to have, and some great teachers.
This thanksgiving, i was thankful for my family and how lucky i am to have them.

On thanksgivimg i was thankful to be able to spend a day with my family. I realized that even though my family is not perfect, and they do fight, we had a time to spend together and put all of our differences aside.

After i thought about it i realized thanksgiving isnt just for eating alot and having a break from school or work its about taking some time from your busy schedule to sit down and talk too your family and show them for much you appreciate them. I am very thankful for my family and friends
I am thankful that the lives that could have been lost. I am thankful that my family is still one. All in all i am thankful that i am here right now.
what i'm thankfull on thanks giving is that i was able to spend thanksgiving with my family and getting to see my family and friends againsice i have not seen some of them in a long time and thats why im thankfull and i guess the meaning of the thanksgiving break its just to sit back and enjoy the week!
I am thankful for a lot of things. I am thankful for my family, my house, my freedom, and my life. This helped me to understand that we took this break to give us time to reflect and give thanks for everything that we have.
The thing I am most thankful for is my family and friends. I was lucky enough to find the best friends someone could ask for last year after Thanksgiving so this Thanksgiving was the first spending it with them. I'm also very thankful for the supportive and loving family that has supported me this whole time. My new friends have become part of my family and I'm grateful that my family has bonded and grown bigger and better than ever.

And it helped me understand the meaning of thanksgiving because I don't get to see some of my aunts and uncles when ever i want because they leave like far away. I am glad to be alive. If I wasn't alive I would be dead. From what I've heard, death isn't all that fun, if it is then I'll try it later. For now I would like to see life through, hopefully I will be able to do all the things I won't be able to do when I'm not here. Which I hope will be more often.
well im really thankfull of having a family that loves me and takes care of me .I am grate ful i have roof to live .I am happy to say that i have a very nice family and that i am healthy.
I am truly thankful for my family and my friends. They have always been there for me when I needed them and when I didn't. They are basically my entire life. Thanksgiving helped me take the time to appreciate the things I have and what I am while others didn't get the same opportunities I did.
I had good break on thanksgiving break well for some days i played games and watched tv with my little brother. But on thursday we had a good time eating food and a peacful time with my sister, dad, brother, grandma. And on Saturday my friend invited me to his party and went laser taging nd had a nice break.
